In this weeks blog we're introducing our favourite British mechanic, Will, who's been with the team since the beginning of 2010.
Here's Will in his own words:
"I started mountain biking in 1987 with a sick, (in many ways) 24" framed 10sp Peugeot. I soon found the enjoyment to be had in customizing one's bike spending much more than the price of the bike on upgrades. It was still RUBBISH! However it spawned a passion that is still strong 23 years later. I raced at high level during the late 80s and early 90s completing in Uphill, Downhill, XC, time trials etc before injury stopped me from competing.
I got back into the pastime around 1999 when I bought a Kona Pahoehoe and learned that sitting around chatting to mates, eating and occasionally riding off a cliff was where mountain biking was at and sounded much more fun than the old days! So I quit my office job, got a job wrenching in a shop and built trails. I found a 6 month guiding job in Whistler in 2007, met my wife in Vancouver and here I am! "
